Kinesio taping may be used alongside acupuncture when appropriate to provide additional support for muscles and joints, helping improve movement, reduce discomfort, and enhance recovery.
Massage therapy, provided by a licensed massage therapist in our office, may be incorporated when appropriate to complement acupuncture by relieving muscle tension, improving circulation, and supporting overall recovery and wellness.
Electrical acupuncture (electroacupuncture) combines traditional acupuncture with gentle electrical stimulation to enhance treatment effectiveness, helping support pain relief, muscle recovery, and overall healing.
Preparing for Your First Visit
01. Initial Consultation
We begin with a comprehensive intake session to discuss your health history, lifestyle, and specific wellness goals. This allows us to tailor a personalized treatment plan.
02. Physical Examination
During the physical exam, we assess your tongue to gather additional diagnostic information. This holistic approach ensures a deeper understanding of your unique constitution.
03. Acupuncture Treatment
Once the plan is set, we proceed with traditional acupuncture. Most patients report a sensation of warmth or tingling, which typically subsides quickly. We ensure your comfort throughout.
04. Follow-Up & Care
Depending on your goals, additional appointments may be
necessary. We encourage you to maintain a healthy lifestyle
to support your healing journey.
Pricing
Your first visit includes a comprehensive consultation and treatment. The initial appointment typically lasts approximately 90 minutes and costs $190. Follow-up appointments are one hour in length and are $110.
Insurance is not accepted. However, receipts can be provided upon request for you to submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
